Job Role: Events & Community Fundraising Organiser – Hastings United Football Club
Salary: Commission based salary with out-of-pocket expenses (telephone/ travel & incidentals)
Hours: Hours are flexible, except there is a requirement to be available weekly on a Thursday between 2 – 4pm and have availability for two hours on one Friday each month.
Accountable to: General Manager
Reporting to: Commercial Manager
The Role
The role of the Events & Community Fundraising Organiser will play a crucial part in the ongoing development of Hastings United Football Club.
The role will involve engaging with Fans, Corporate supporters and the local community. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be required to develop and implement campaigns to raise funds through sponsored activities, community engagement, events and assist with the Club’s Sports & Social Club incorporating the 1893 Lounge for matchday hospitality. The post holder will work closely with and be a member of the Club’s Commercial team.
The role requires a dynamic individual who can build strong relationships, create innovative fundraising initiatives and lead on event planning and execution to support the Club’s financial goals.
Desirables
Experience in delivering effective and practical fundraising campaigns with local communities
Good communication skills, including familiarity and knowledge of social media
Ability to work as a member of a team
