Mens First Team
Hi All,
September has been an up and down month with 1 win in the FA Cup at home to Harefield, a defeat in the FA Cup at Cray, a loss in the League at Hashtag and a hard earned draw at Lewes in the League. Well since our last home game we have travelled to League Leaders Lewes, while last Saturday we made the trip to Cray Wanderers in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup after beating Redhill and Harefield in the previous two rounds.
The game at Lewes ended all square at 1-1, Billy Vigar gave us the lead with his first goal for the club while the home side drew level late on to gain a share of the spoils. The first half was as well as we have played all season and we deserved to have a greater advantage at the break but it wasn’t to be and we came away from the Dripping Pan with a point.
On the last Saturday of the month we were at Cray with the prize a place in the 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup but we never showed up and went down 3-0.
What a contrast in just seven days with just one change to the side that did so well at Lewes.
We were all bitterly disappointed so we will be looking for a reaction. Some frank words were said after the game and all of us, me the manager, the management team and the players must accept responsibility. We know our players will have to work harder than ever to get anything from games and make no mistake they will be up for it.
We parted company with Tyrese Briscoe recently and we thank him for his services and wish him all the very best for the future.
We need you the supporters more than ever right now, please get right behind us all.

Womens First Team
A frustrating month on and off the pitch with 2 games played and 4 points dropped. 1-1 at home to Welling United after creating a lot of chances and conceding a sloppy goal. Then travelling to Herne Bay, going in at half time 2-1 up then losing 3-2 late on. We are all pulling in the right direction but with the weather effecting the Pilot Field we haven’t been able to play since the 8th! We are staying fit, still trying to learn, scouting opposition to get ahead as much as we can! Whenever we are next on, please come down and support the girls who are playing some exciting football in a highly competitive league who are running their socks off to do well for their teammates and management!

Inclusive & Disability Team
It sounds like Hastings United Inclusive and Disability team had an incredible first season! From playing in the Sussex Disability Football League and bonding as a team to successfully competing in friendlies against 1066, it’s clear that their hard work and dedication paid off. The presentation evening with the Hastings United men’s team must have been a special moment for everyone involved, with each player receiving well-deserved recognition for their efforts. The opportunity to play at Chelsea’s training ground with the Chelsea Foundation sounds like an unforgettable experience as well. Winning multiple games and reaching the final for the Silver Plate, even though they narrowly missed out on the trophy, must have been thrilling. It’s clear that, beyond the wins, the joy and passion for football are what drive this team.The coaches—James, Lewis, and Roman—clearly share in the pride of the team’s accomplishments, and it’s exciting to hear that the future looks bright, with growing numbers in both the youth and adult teams. Their commitment to fostering a love for football in a Pan Disability team is admirable, and it’s heartwarming to see how much it means to the players. Best of luck to Hastings United Inclusive and Disability team for the upcoming season, and here’s to continued success and growth! Up the ‘U’S

Hastings United Inclusive & Disability would like to add Wheelchair Football to our already successful Pan Disability and New Youth Disability Football Offering. We have a few participants interested and we would love to hear from more local Wheelchair users who would like to be part of this exciting NEW project. Our Coaches are all UEFA & FA Qualified with extensive experience in Disability and Inclusive Football and Sports in General.

Hastings United FC would like to thank The DC Group for restoring seats within our main stand to their former glory. Initially work has been completed on the front row of the seats within our main stand helping us to preserve these historic seats.
The locally based DC Group have developed a unique environmentally conscious system to rejuvenate red and faded plastic stadium seating giving up to 20 years protection against UV degradation. Not only is the system by far the most economical way to restore our faded seats, but there was also no disruption as the seats remained in place, allowing us to complete the works during the football season. As a Club, we are delighted to be doing our bit for the environment by restoring and not just throwing away and replacing with more single use plastic. The icing on the cake is that you have helped us to preserve these historic seats, which came out of the old Wembley stadium for at least the next 20 years!
